ABSTRACT:

The flower’s of Nymphaea tetragona were soxhleted with petroleum ether (b.p. 60-800), chloroform and alcohol (95%). We isolated nine higher fatty acids from this herb. Identification of the isolated compounds were carried out through IR, PMR and MASS spectroscopy.
