About this Journal

Biosciences Biotechnology Research Asia ‘BBRA’ (ISSN: 0973-1245) an open access, peer reviewed research journal was started in 2001. We strive hard to provide a forum for worldwide scientific researchers from last many years to share findings on all aspects of Biosciences and Biotechnology to disseminate innovative, relevant and useful information throughout the scientific horizon.

We are abstracted in the leading databases of the world. We accept for publication manuscripts that were not published earlier (except as abstract). The articles should not be simultaneously under consideration for publication elsewhere. The Editorial Board shall scrutinize each article submitted to the journal and shall submit it to peer review.

  • What is the time period between submission to publication?
    During the publication cycle, the average time taken from submission to publication time is 6 to 8 weeks.

  • Why should I include social media profiles, Orcid ID & Publons ID in the article?
    Social media IDs are asked to the author just to increase the readership after its publication.
    Whereas publon ID and Orcid ID is the journal format. The details are added to the article to maintain transparency.
  • What happens after my article has been accepted?
    The accepted manuscript files are forwarded to the composing & production department for data processing and typesetting.
    A short while after completing the composing process, the galley proofs of the article is sent to the author for approval. In case of any corrections, the concern is communicated to the editorial office. once approved the article is then added to the TOC (table of content) of the issue.
