Prof. Everaldo Silvino dos Santos has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (1994), a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (1997) and a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (2001) with sandwich at the University of Birmingham (England). He was Coordinator of the Undergraduate Course in Chemical Engineering at UFRN (2002-2006), Vice-Chief (2006-2008) and Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at UFRN (2008-2012) and Vice-Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Biotechnology Renorbio-UFRN (2013-2014). He is currently a Full Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte and Leader of the Research Group? Bioprocess Engineering (UFRN) and Director of the Brazilian Chemical Engineering Association (ABEQ) section RN.
Research Interest: Chemical Engineering, with emphasis on Biochemical Processes, acting mainly on the following topics: Enzymatic synthesis; Recovery and Purification of Biomolecules; Waste treatment
