    <abstract language="eng">4, 9-Dihydroxy -3, 8-dimethoxy- benzo [4, 5] furo [3, 2-C] chromen -6- one, 6, 7'-dihydroxy -3- methoxydihydroflavonol, 5,7- dihydroxy -4'-methoxy isoflavone, 7-hydroxy -4'-methoxy isoflavone, 7,3'-dihydroxy -4'-methoxy isoflavone, 4', 5, 7-trihydroxy isoflavone, 2'- hydoxy genistein have been isolated for the first time from the stem bark of Annona squamosa and identified by spectroscopic data.</abstract>
