Cocculus hirsutus (Linn.) is a medicinal plant used in various alternative systems of medicine for its hypoglycemic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities. Systematic and scientific study of plant drugs may be done by Pharmacognostical, Chemical and Pharmacological studies for the standardization of the herbal plants.
