This study was undertaken to estimate the economic parameters such as cocoon weight, shell weight, shell percentage, filament length, non-breakable filament length, filament denier, renditta and silk proteins like fibroin and sericin in larvae of silk worm Bombyx mori treated with vertebrate steroid hormone corticosterone.
