Transition metal complexes derived from biologically active ligands and selected metal ions have been synthesized. They were characterized by microanalysis, Fourier Transform infrared (FT-IR), proton NMR (1HNMR) and Low Resolution Mass Spectrometry (LRMS) techniques. The paramagnetic shift influence observed in some of the complexes is qualitatively discussed.
