The pollen grains of Adina cordifolia Linn. (Rubiaceae) were observed by SEM and light microscope and recorded their pollen description. Pollen grains are tricolpate, oblate and sub-spheroidal in shape. The exines reticulate and size of pollen is 45 x 42 μm. The outer and inner surface of colpus membrane is densely verrucate. The tectum is medium and corsely reticulate. The average number of pollen grains produced per anther is 8,000 - 9,000 and pollen grains per flower is 40,000 - 45,000. The number of ovule/flower is two and pollen-ovule is 21,000 : 1.
