Wild macrofungal species are somewhat less renowned, despite their utilisation in traditional medicine and the recognition of its therapeutic potential for ages. Determining the antimicrobial activity and antioxidative activity of wild macro-fungi is critical for the development of monographs to facilitate the incorporation of fungi in traditional medicine into modern health care systems. This study investigated the efficiency of methanolic extracts of <em>Termitomyces clypeatus</em> R. Hiem sourced from forest patches in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, India, for antimicrobial activity and antioxidative activity. Antioxidant activities include ABTS Radical Scavenging Activity, DPPH Activity, Hydroxy Free Radical Scavenging Activity, Reactive Nitrogen Oxide Scavenging Activity, Super Oxide Anion Radical Scavenging Activity, FRAP activity and CUPRAC Activity. The extracts of the species were evaluated against three Gram-positive bacteria, three Gram-negative bacteria, and four fungus strains. The results suggested that the examined macrofungi demonstrated antimicrobial activity against multiple microorganisms. These data substantiate that studied ferns generate a range of active compounds.
