<p style="text-align: justify;"><em>Rhododendron </em>is one of the plants with the broadest spectrum species, the most extended history of traditional medicine use, and the wide range of pharmacological properties. In 2013, a report was published to summarize the studies reported from 1898 to 2012. Many phytochemical compounds and their various treatment effects of over 40 Rhododendron species were mentioned in the present review. This review aims to evaluate the newly discovered and observed phytochemical compounds in recent years and their activities in some <em>Rhododendron </em>species.</p>
